A Hansonified Party

Marianne, who turned 27 last June 11, delighted us with a Hanson-themed party at her house somewhere in the city of Mandaue, Cebu. I wish I had more words for the fun I had that night, but I am too overwhelmed to dig my gray matter up for more adjectives.

I arrived late (gracefully) because the stupid taxi driver had the cab going around in circles. I had been to her place once, during that Hanson weekend, but I could no longer remember where it exactly was due to the fact that I was groggy all the while. I finally got off the cab and took a trisikad. Mel and Eunice met me at the intersection because I was clueless as to where I was headed.

We had barbecue and hamonada and grilled fish and soda and candies and stuff. But the highlight of the party? The Hanson-themed cake and cupcakes. Overly cute, I tell you.

Cutest cake evarrr!
It took us quite a while to finally eat the cake! It was too beautiful to touch, let alone eat!

Marianne's friends had planned on a surprise for her. There was to be a band! We joined in on the fun. We were asked if we knew the lyrics to "Penny and Me," "MMMBop," and "If Only." I could only smile and say, "DUHHHH!"

Here's the "Penny and Me" video. FUN!!

I love my Hanson friends because with them I get to be all crazy and stuff---without being judged. The happiness I feel whenever I'm with them is just ecstatic. I don't know. I can't describe it. :) I am so thankful to Hanson for leading me toward these wonderful people. The best ever! Just one day of being together---and click!---we're like total best friends! Nyahahahaha! :D

I wish I had met them earlier in my life, say 15 years ago? We have shared so much passion for the same band that the friendship we've created is just stellar! I love you, girls. You know that. Awww.

It was the best themed party I have been to. Yeah, I am biased, but what the heck. And guess what I loved most about going to this party . . . I GOT TO TAKE ZAC HOME! Don't believe me? Look:

He's yummy. If you know what I mean. Nyahaha
My own birthday is coming up as well. I wish I could throw a Hanson party too. But I don't think that's ever going to happen. Oh well. I can throw one in my dreams and invite all three brothers (and their wives? NAH!)
