I gave birth at a relatively young age: 21. At this age, one would not imagine to have real physical problems. While I was never the slim type, I neither was the type who needed help with "hiding" bulky body parts. But yes, pregnancy and motherhood did take its toll on me---like most women who have gotten pregnant and given birth.
After childbirth, I immediately started wearing girdles and stomach binders. But I always felt that the stuff I used was never enough. I've switched products more than twice in a month! The blue stomach binders that I used were uncomfortable and didn't hold that firmly. The girdles my partner bought for me were useless. I felt like I was just adding up to the "heaviness" I was already feeling.
