I know, I know, I've been MIA lately! Sorry! But my first quarter has been a total blur! Important to note though is that I went back to work at an office! Yay or nay?
So yeah, I started in February as a business-to-consumer marketing coordinator for a smartphone app called FoodEagle. It's a match made in heaven because I like food and eagles (?)
What does a b2c marketing person do? Well, basically, I make sure end users are interested in the brand. I get feedback, report back to the devs, and do damage control when needed. Also, it involves a lot of being unreasonably enthusiastic on Instagram. Seriously though, it's a demanding job (for a demanding person!)
It's been great so far (don't be fooled by the photo, was just tryna be kyoot)! I manage the social media team, and the people I work with are just amazing! :) #epicteam #socialmediaFTW
The pressure is on though - but you know what they say, "do what you love, and you won't have to work a day in your life." The world of marketing is appealing to me, so I'm not complaining! Too bad curling up in bed with a good book while sipping coffee won't pay my bills though.
Long story short, I'm back to commuting (even though my husband just drives me in our Lamborghini to and from the office every day). The up side is I get to save electricity at home because I now have free aircon at the office! Win!
